Gasmasken Page 01 'C-Maske' by acrid-placidity Gasmasken Page 01 'C-Maske' by acrid-placidity
The first page of my book "Gasmasken" (hopefully-soon-to-be-released). The book represents over 50 masks of my personal collection from all around the world and every era.

More infos on this project will follow as soon as possible.

I love the piece, but was upset that you placed such a heavy watermark over the face. When having a model with such pale skin, wearing a mask of the same shade, adding a mark can really botch the picture of what its worth.

The smoothness of the skin and sides of the gas mask are lovely. all the curves and lines, look silky to the touch and make it very pleasing to the eyes.

I like how the only darkness, is the black eye lashes through the clear lens. It is a very casual piece, and really puts your mind to work.

Thank you for sharing :)

this is so beautiful
how did you get this color tone?
is it gradient mapping?

Thanks!
The main grading is just some work with curves; contrast-reducing and such.
To emphasize the mask, I enhanced the contrast (curves & clarity).
That's about it.
Hope it can help you?

Yes, since I got my first GP5 about 13 years ago I started collecting all things NBC-protection.
I am at about 70 different masks now, some I have as a duplicate or in different sizes as well as breathig aparatus and protective suits. How about you?
